
Yair Polishook
Musical Director and Conductor
Yair Polishook was born in Israel. He holds a B.Mus in singing and conducting from the Jerusalem Academy of music and dance, Israel, and a Master's degree from Trinity-Laban College of music and dance, London.
Polishook sings in concerts across Israel and Europe in a Repertoire spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions.
Polishook has sung with the leading orchestras and choirs in Israel and Europe, among them – Les Talens Lyriques, France, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Le'zion and the Israeli Opera House.
During 2009-2013 a member of the Israeli Bach Soloists ensemble.
During 2013-2015 a member of Meitar Opera studio of the Israeli opera house.
Alongside his singing career, Polishook conducts the Israeli Opera community productions of ‘the Magic Fluet’ by W.A.Mozart.
Also acting as conductor and artistic director of the ‘Kibbutz Artzi Choir’.
Conductor for ‘Dorot’ choir.
Artistic director for ‘I Miserelli’ ensemble - which specializes in HIP of the Renaissance and Baroque music.
Conductor of the opera class and choir of ‘Telma’ high-school since 2025.
