Yuval Benozer

Musical Director and Conductor

Yuval Benozer serves as the musical director and conductor of the Kibutz Artzi Choir since 1990.

Today, considered one of the most well-known conductors in Israel.

 Graduated from the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and the Music School of the Indiana University in the United States, Yuval has conducted many of the foremost Israeli orchestras and was invited to conduct orchestras in France, Germany, Italy and Argentina.

Yuval Benozer has served as chorus master in operatic productions of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the batons of Zubin Mehta, James Levine, Daniel Barenboim, Kurt Masur, Giuseppe Sinopoli and Daniel Barenboim.

In 1993 Yuval Benozer founded the New Israeli Vocal Ensemble, the leading professional choir in Israel, and serves as its musical director and conductor ever since.  It was  under  Ben-Ozer’s baton the Ensemble won first prizes in choirs’ contests in Malta, Spain and Belgium , also taking  part in international choirs festivals in Korea, Italy, Slovenia and many more.

 His performances include all important venues in Israel, such as the Israel Festival, Kfar Blum Festival, Tel Aviv Museum , The Opera House and many others.

Yuval Benozer is often invited as a juror in choirs’ contests, and over the last few years has been involved in organizing seminars and lectures for business organizations in Israel and abroad introducing a business development scheme created by him.
